Ralt RT1 Historic Formula 2

The RT1 was the first model produced by Ralt, and established their reputation for building strong, well-engineered and competitive race cars at an attractive price. The chassis was available as a F2, FA or F3 and had worldwide success until the advent of ground effects saw its replacement by the RT2 and RT3.

This stunning example began life in the French hillclimb championship, but has more recently been developed into a competitive race winning car in European then HSCC F2. Powered by the highly desirable BMW engine option it benefited from a recent Ridgeway Racing engine rebuild and Mark Bailey gearbox rebuild, and had a new fuel cell fitted in 2019.

Supplied complete with 12 new Barnby wheels slicks and wets and a very good spares package including:

1 nose and 2 nose frames
2 radiators
2 front and 1 rear upright
1 set of upper and lower front wishbones
1 gearbox end plate
1 silencer
and running spares including cables, plugs and pads etc. Supplied with HTP papers valid until December 2026.
