Displayed at the Earls Court Motor Show in October 1950, originally finished in silver with a maroon interior, and registered as ‘PNX 8’ which it retains still to this day.
Delivered to Swedish Bristol agent Hans Ostermann and later raced extensively by Sam Gillberg across Sweden, Finland, and England from 1953 to 1956 on ice, roads and race tracks, notably at events such as the Grand Prix de Caen, Skarpknackk and Snetterton.
Inspected by Denis Jenkinson on its arrival back to UK soil for then owner Frank Sytner in 1986 with only 16,000 miles on the clock, before having a no expense spared restoration by TT Workshops ahead of both road and track use.
Acquired by the well known and very much missed, racing enthusiast, Stephen Curtis in 1997, it has remained cherished by the same family to this day.

A regular participant in prestigious events such as the Monaco Historique, Goodwood Revival, Tour Auto and Mille Miglia. This is a highly eligible historic racing car whilst boasting fantastic usability on the road.
Few cars offer more versatility of use than the Le Mans Rep, from racing, road, tours and hill climbs one can see why they were so popular in period and remain so today. That increasingly rare offering of a racing car you can still drive to the pub.
