Full description


Originally built as a works car (chassis number 1978-20-15) and driven by Paul Gibson. Subsequently used in hillclimbs before returning to the circuits to be raced by Robert Manson. 

Updated to Mk 21 specification and fully rebuilt for the 2017 season with relocated side fuel tanks and a Mallock certified rollover bar. Competed successfully by David Wale then purchased by Steve Collier last year. 

Currently racing in MSVR Clubmans Sports Prototype class CSPA with a low mileage John Smurthwaite engine fitted with a control camshaft. A higher performance Newman A8 camshaft is included in the spares package. 

Fitted with a Quaife straight cut Ford 3-rail dog gearbox built by Tony Thompson Racing in a new case, Quaife EN30B half-shafts on a twin bearing axle with 4.1 and 4.4 Ford diffs in alloy cases with Quaife CWPs.

Two sets of Avon A24 slicks on Mike Barnby rims and one set of Avon A15 Wets on Compomotive rims.

Complete with a detailed history file including HSCC VIFs, Mallock spec and set up sheets, and invoices for work carried out. Also an excellent spares package including a painted nose and side pods, a new radiator, half shaft, steering rack and numerous other parts.
