Alexis was one of the first and most prolific marques in the early days of Formula Ford, including supplying cars to the Jim Russell Racing Schools and being raced by such luminaries as James Hunt. The Mark 15 was introduced in late 1968 and was highly successful throughout 1969.
This Historic Formula Ford has had only one owner for the past 20 years, raced regularly in HSCC events and has also appeared at Goodwood Festival of Speed and in a parade at the Revival. It has been professionally and regularly maintained and benefits from a low mileage Neil Bold engine (refreshed two races ago) and a spares package which includes:
• 4 wheels fitted with Dunlops
• Spare cylinder head
• Ratios
• Suspension parts (for pattern)
• Long range fuel tank
• Fitted car cover
The car is supplied complete with a history file including set up information, invoices and current and previous HSCC Identity Forms. All safety equipment is in date.
