£395
Posted in Memorabilia

Summary

The Devil's Hairpin (USA, 1957) was effectively the Cornel Wilde precursor to McQueen’s Le Mans.

Full description

Wilde  wrote, directed, starred and drove…..sound familiar ?
Much of the movie was filmed at Laguna Seca.
One of several original posters for THE DEVIL'S HAIRPIN that I have here at Drivepast, from various countries, and featuring the top cars of the day: Jaguar D-Type, Aston Martin DB3S, Arnolt Bristol, Ferrari, even Old Yeller.
Condition of this poster (titled in French "Virage du Diable") is  good with a theatre used patina, pinholes etc. Colour is superb. There's a little foxing and a little fold wear.
Displays superbly !
Origin: France 1957
Size: 63 x 47 in / 160 x 119 cm

Easy to use, a needed approach for sure and I like the concept. Will continue to use this efficient platform and excited to hear that a new ‘drives available’ category is on the way.
