“UNLUCKY” WEEKEND FOR TURKINGTON BRINGS THE 2023 BTCC YEAR TO AN END
BRANDS HATCH | SEASON FINALE | 7TH AND 8TH OCTOBER 2023
And just like that, the 2023 season is over. A weekend with lots of ups and downs but ultimately bad luck taking charge. The car felt great in race 3 and a top 10 finish was fantastic, especially with a hybrid failure at the beginning. I couldn’t have given any more.
Brands was reflective of the season as a whole to be honest.
We’ve chased the car to get it how I like it a lot of the time, been forced on the back foot and had to fight back. It’s been a strange year because of this, but I’m still satisfied I put everything into it.
A massive thank you to Adam and Tom, my mechanics, who moved mountains time and time again for me this year. Thanks to everyone at BMW, to all my incredible supporters and of course to the fabulous WSR #4 crew
Easy to use, a needed approach for sure and I like the concept. Will continue to use this efficient platform and excited to hear that a new ‘drives available’ category is on the way.
