23 November, 2022

  • Motorsport Showroom has launched as ‘The Competitors’ Marketplace’ ahead of the 2023 racing season
  • Showpiece cars include a dominant Le Mans Prototype Lola B12/60 Judd as well a stunning Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupé
  • Complimentary listing facility now available for a limited time period up until March during the initial launch phase

A new online driver’s marketplace, Motorsport Showroom, has officially launched and is offering users an unrivalled experience that delivers competition cars, parts, memorabilia and more. Developed by a passionate and experienced team, born into the motorsport world, the new online platform is aimed at providing the global motorsport community with a place where owners, teams, dealers, collectors and enthusiasts, while still offering the personal approach to the sometimes soulless world of an online marketplace.

Harry Whale, director at Motorsport Showroom, believes that the website can deliver so much more than just another marketplace: “Having been involved in Motorsport for decades, I have kept a close eye on what is and isn’t effective via existing motorsport trading websites. Other people and businesses in the Motorsport community agreed there was more expertise required behind the scenes and an improved user experience, hence Motorsport Showroom was born.”

The new website features a unique filter which allows potential buyers the opportunity to search for cars relating to specific series they are interested in. Currently, the site features the stunning Le Mans Prototype (LMP), Lola B12/60 Judd. The LMP race car has an impressive pedigree with four victories, and two second places in the 10 Masters Endurance Legend races in has competed in since its introduction in 2020.

Alongside this sits a beautiful Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupé, built by Classic Racing Cars, Gary Spencer, and prepared by the Jordan Racing team. This race-ready Cobra is presented in the expected impeccable condition and comes with an FIA HTP certification, valid until 2027.

Whale continued: “This new feature will ensure that potential customers do not need to trawl through pages of vehicles and parts which may not be relevant to them. In just a couple of clicks, they can filter through to what they need and have a more focused experience.

“We have also included an integrated Whatsapp tool which then connects buyers with sellers, for more efficient communications when discussing the product further."

The racing season is now at a close so it’s the perfect time for enthusiasts to consider selling unwanted or spare items and start searching for what's available ahead to 2023. During the initial launch phase, sellers will have a limited-time opportunity up to list their items without paying a listing fee and this incentive will be available until March 2023.
