Motorsport Showroom renews partnership with Equipe Classic Racing for the 2024 Season

After a great 2023 we're excited to announce that we have renewed our partnership with Equipe Classic Racing for the 2024 season. The first race takes place this weekend at Brand Hatch Indy Circuit and we're looking forward to getting out on track with everyone later in the year in a MK2 Ford Escort. Below is an update from Rob and John who are the driving force behind Equipe Classic Racing and as you can see, it certainly looks like a very busy 2024! 

EQUIPE 2024 UPDATE 
 
Things are looking really positive, we are up year on year on registrations with new cars, drivers and series. We have feedback that everyone is looking forward to getting on track and getting rid of the rain blues. We have a great turn out for the track day next week and are looking forward to seeing drivers new and old. 

Brands Hatch GP now has 83 entries so now on the last few places so if you are thinking of racing this great circuit the time to enter is now. Brands Indy has had a last minute rush and is now ahead of last year with two weeks to go. (there are still some places left) We are looking forward to a great season opener – we also promise to fix the weather*. This meeting also has the benefit of a 20 minute test session first thing on Saturday to bed in new stuff or just to remind you where the pedals are…
 
Zandvoort is proving very popular with 42 entries across the weekend. Our offer of helping with the paperwork has resulted in new bookings. Think sea, sun, beach bars and one of the worlds most spectacular tracks – what is not to like! 

We enjoyed Cadwell Park so much last year we have turned it into a weekend as many of you said it was too far for a single day. Very few of you joined us last year so please take advantage of this beautiful and undulating circuit – it’s well worth the journey and we are planning a social event on the Saturday night.

The Super Sprint is already booking well, we know many of you experienced this for the first time last year and looking at the list have already decided to race again. This is the most exciting fun you can have in a day on track – not to be missed as the season finale on October 5th this year.
