DOMINANT DISPLAY FROM 4-TIME CHAMP CLINCHING HIS 68TH AND 69TH CAREER VICTORIES

Brands Hatch Indy – 11th and 12th May 2024

Colin Turkington produced a masterclass performance over the weekend, securing pole position and two dominant race wins.
Notching his 68th and 69th BTCC career victories, the Team BMW driver’s stunning drives were a textbook Turkington display.
The 4-Time champ backed this up with a super 8th place finish in the reversed grid race 3, having starting 11th with only 5 laps of hybrid deployment available.
His 52 points score was the highest of the weekend, launching him up to 2nd place in the championship only 2 points shy from the top.
Brands Hatch basked in glorious sunshine all weekend, with track temperatures soaring to over 30 degrees, a stark contrast to the soaking season opener at Donington Park two weeks prior.
Turkington was thrilled with his overall results and praised his team for producing a car that ‘was just how I like it’.
