Full description
This original factory Abarth is a rare find and should not be confused with the recreations that occasionally come to market. It has the correct Abarth number stamped into its body and ABA engine number stamped into the block, together with factory documentation confirming its identity.
The previous owner was a leading Abarth collector in Italy, where the car was restored to a very correct and extremely high standard 9 years ago. This included a bare metal respray, full engine and gearbox rebuild, full rewire, new clutch, suspension and brake overhaul and a complete retrim. The car retains its original steering wheel, tool kit and jack and has a competition specification gearbox and wheels. Having covered less than 2,000 miles since restoration it is still in absolutely immaculate condition throughout and drives just as it should.
UK registered by its current owner since 2017 the car has featured at numerous shows and events both in Italy and the UK and has recently been on display in a Fiat showroom.
Offered complete with a detailed history file incorporating Italian and UK registration documentation, an original Instruction Book and Workshop Manual.
Probably one of the best and most original Abarths available anywhere, and a great opportunity for a collector.
