I have reached the conclusion that I have too many cars and they can only be enjoyed one at a time. So it's time to reduce the numbers to a more practical level, and on the basis of last in first out, I am selling my lovely Elan Sprint drop head. Finished in the best colour combination of Lagoon Blue over Cirrus White, it is in superb all-round condition and even retains its original chassis which is in excellent condition. Only non original items are a solid drive shaft conversion (which is a desirable change), plus electronic ignition for reliability.
I bought the car 15 months ago because it was so good, but I really do have too many classic cars - 6 Lotus at present including 2 Elans, one of which needs to go and I plan on keeping my early pre-airflow S3 Coupe.
You’ll struggle to find a better Elan Sprint DHC on the market today.
