To be offered by Iconic Auctioneers on Saturday 18th May at Sywell Aerodrome.
Guide Price: £230,000 - £260,000
The highly exclusive Audi R8 GT was introduced in 2010 and limited to 333 examples worldwide. It was seen as the ultimate embodiment of the iconic mid-engined supercar, however, a successor, the R8 V10 GT RWD arrived in late 2022 (Week 48) and was again limited to 333 units globally, with only 15 examples bound for the UK. The GT RWD is a track-focused 'halo' model with many bespoke performance and design features and is powered by Audi's legendary high-revving 5.2-litre V10 generating 620PS (612bhp) and 565Nm of torque, and offering 0-62mph in a remarkable 3.4 seconds on its way to 199mph. It was paired with a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission with even faster shifting times and was fitted with a 'rear torque mode' offering seven different settings enabling different levels of precise and controlled oversteer. The GT RWD marked the final farewell to the V10 as it was not to return after R8 production was closed.

Presenting, as you would expect for what is essentially a new car, this is a potentially significant car in Audi’s illustrious history given it’s their last normally-aspirated V10 supercar and their most powerful rear-wheel-drive car ever made. Taking this into account, along with the fact that they only made 15 for the UK market, this is an extremely rare and interesting proposition, one that may not come along again any time soon.
