In 2014 Guy Ritchie directed the Warner Brothers movie “The man from U.N.C.L.E.” and needed a 1967 formula 1 race car for a scene at the Goodwood racing circuit. He turned to Stuart Taylor who built him a fully functioning recreation of an original Lotus 49 as driven by Jimmy Clark and Graham Hill. The car also appeared in white Honda Livery.
More recently the car has been used in track days and non-FIA Historic Racing. The car also received invitations for the pre-race program of the French Grand Prix and always draws a lot of attention from the audience.
